There are no limitations for wheelchair users on board. There is a lift so that everyone can reach our restaurant, where naturally you will find moveable seats. Our passageways, wide enough for wheelchairs, and accessible toilets (also in the port) ensure a fully accessible trip on our Sylt Ferry.
Havneby lies at the southern tip of the Danish island of Rømø. The island is about an hour‘s drive by car from the German-Danish border, and is connected to the mainland by a causeway that is free of charge. Find more information about Havneby and your journey here.
The ticket is vaild for 12 months from the date of issue. Promotion tickets may have a shorter validity. The €50 car ticket from the 2016 special offer is valid until 31 March 2017.

You can bring your bike rack with you for free on the back of your car, as long as the overall length is under 6.00 m, or on top of your car, as long as the overall height is under 4.80 m.

The journey lasts approximately one hour. Please pay attention to the speed limits of 130 kmph on motorways and 80 kmph on ordinary roads when driving through Denmark. The use of the causeway on to Rømø is free of charge. You can find detailed directions to the port in Havneby here.
There are bus/train connections from Rømø to Billund. The journey takes about two to three hours, including the transfer from bus to train in Skærbæk.
The journey takes about 1.5 hours by car.
Please note that, owing to customs regulations, cigarettes, sweets and spirits may only be purchased in German waters. Perfumes and accessoires may be purchased throughout the trip.
